Ambient Piece for Olafur Eliasson’s Klanglicht Contribution at Orangerie Graz
Olafur Eliasson's impressive sculpture used monochromatic light and two layers of Glass, covering the whole Orangerie into a special atmosphere. (Commissioned by Luis Vuitton Malletier/TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Collection.) I composed the ambient soundtrack. I mainly used granular synthesis with samples contributed by two fellow sound artists and two pianos, to create the slowly evolving soundscape, a physical modeling one and a prepared one, I recorded.
